You could have given up your dream to become a Super star, but don't give up on your Lexington home just yet. Movie or TV shoots have caused some owners to leave their home for days, even weeks. For the use of the perfect home, movie producers are willing to shell out big money.

The glamour and money is worth it for many. For others, the thought of a repair person entering their house causes apprehension. A hundred crewmembers are too much, even for fame. Nevertheless, it would be fun to see your Lexington home on the big screen.

There is a bit of competition for buyers in the Lexington condo market . There are a few things you can do to put your condominium above the rest and guarantee a quicker sale. Above all, be sure the price is right. Price your condo according to the local market and surrounding neighborhood. Invite several brokers over for a "open house." More brokers mean more exposure.

For every possible buyer, generate an individual "resource list." Families might be looking for nearby schools or parks while empty nesters are attracted to fine dining or theaters. Make the kitchen and bathroom a point of focus. Putting money towards upgrades here will pay off big. Incentives, such as a plasma TV or grocery store gift certificate, are a great way to bring in buyers.

Gear that come with cords are being purchased by more and more people. Almost every Lexington home contains a variety of cell phones, computers, and iPods, which come with a mixture of unsightly cords. Several vendors are now making furniture complete with built in power strips, USB ports, and phone and Internet jacks. From side tables to desks to coffee tables, power sources can be concealed nearly anywhere.

Staying away from spills on night stands and coffee tables is one challenge that comes with power outlets. Can we keep drinks away from the coffee table, just like we are trained to keep them away from the keyboard? Until cell phones and laptops are waterproof, we have to proceed with caution. This type of furniture is thought of as a luxury, but should soon become the norm.

Most of the time, buying a piece of Lexington real estate is unproblematic. You finish up in a community you have always dreamed of with a fabulous house. Unfortunately, it is usually too late when you realize that your neighbors are a headache.

Neighborly feuds sometimes get excessive and might cause one party to move away. It is best to shower a malicious neighbor with kindness; you have a better chance a response to your complaints.

Make sure you do your research on local codes and regulations prior to accusing a neighbor of violating any laws. You can bring the city in if they do not answer your interests.

The court and police should only be used as a last resort and a mediator can oftentimes settle any feuds. You should be able to get along with your neighbor if you keep an open mind.

A cutting edge trend in design is spreading throughout the nation. For Lexington home decorating ideas, plenty of residents are looking to a taxidermist. Over the past several years, boutiques and high-end department stores have begun selling stuffed animals. Taxidermy decorating is all over the place, from black crows and doves to zebras and bears.

Some homeowners feel that decorating with stuffed animals gives modern, cold interiors a little bit of warmth. Although many love the look of a deer head mounted above the mantle, many find it a bit disturbing. There is no telling how long this taxidermy chic look might go on so you should get your flamingo while you can.

Summer is currently in full bloom. Energy to run the AC has become limited as heat waves spread through much of the United States. If your Lexington home is without AC, there are a few things you can do to cool down.

First off, hold something frozen in your hand for as long as possible. This is going to cool down your body for almost an hour and will lower your temperature by as much as 3 degrees Fahrenheit. Stop if it starts to hurt. Even if you aren't thirsty, drink lots of water. You will need to make up for all of the fluids lost from sweating. Avoid direct sunlight. If you need to go outdoors, cover up with airy, loose-fitting clothes.

Turn off all heat sources such as lights or the oven. Get your hair wet by taking a cool shower or bath. Place a damp towel behind your neck, on your forehead, on the inside of your wrists and elbows, and on the backs of your knees. These points will naturally cool the rest of your body down.

If everything else fails, go to the library, a bookstore, or other air-conditioned location. People have lived for many years without AC. Roughing it for a couple days will not be that difficult.
