Student housing is steady, despite a slight drop in ordinary Lexington apartment rentals. According to a recent report, the average growth rate for every type of student housing has increased by 7 percent. Houses with three or more bedrooms have experienced the highest increase, from 9 percent to 13 percent.

A lease remains by the unit, not the bed, and the better part of leases run the traditional year. Lexington homeowners renting to students might find this news valuable.
