Student housing is going strong, in spite of a slight dip in ordinary Lexington apartment rentals. The average growth rate for all forms of student housing has increased by 7 percent, according to a recent report. Units with +3 bedrooms have undergone the highest increase, from 9 percent to 13 percent.

The majority of leases run the normal 12-months and remains by unit, not by bed. Lexington homeowners renting to students will find this news valuable.
