Any piece of Lexington real estate could be hit by mold. A new study revealed that building quality might be among the main contributors to mold growth, not weather and humidity.

Strict energy guidelines regulate the construction of today's buildings. When moisture is trapped inside the walls of a structure, the greenhouse effect is created. In order to keep up on the mold infestation, it helps to get regular roof, drainage, and structure inspections.

It is more costly to fix a giant mold problem than it is to get yearly inspections. A mold problem could end a deal when the time comes to list your Lexington home .
